Jeff Greene
INSTRUCTOR
Jeff has 20 years of experience as a firefighter with the Puget Sound Fire Department in Washington State. His experience is vast including 7 years on the Hazmat team, and then another 4 years as the engineer on a ladder truck. Following that, he was promoted to captain and spent another 2 years leading the truck company. Most recently, he was made captain of Heavy Rescue 7 and has been in this position for the last two years. He and his heavy rescue company train heavily on rope rescue, swift water, trench, elevator rescue, auto extrication, confined space, heavy vehicle extrication and lifting, man vs. machine, and structural collapse.
A true believer in lifelong learning, Jeff frequently participates in rescue courses across the country. He has also brought his expertise to his region for the last 7 years as a lead rope instructor, responsible for 13 different departments and around 250 rope techs. Jeff is an experienced rescue technician with some incredible rescue operations under his belt.
